Ceuta achieves coveted silver investors in people award - 30/11/2009
Bournemouth based Ceuta Healthcare, Europe’s leading outsourcing sales, marketing and logistics service provider to the health and beauty industry, has been awarded the newly acclaimed Silver Investor in People Award (IiP). Less than one per cent of UK organisations have ever achieved this accolade.
Bronze, Silver and Gold status was introduced by IiP in May this year to celebrate achievements above the required standard and to encourage organisations to improve even further. Ceuta was awarded the Silver status in recognition of its exceptional leadership and management practices and dedication to staff and personal development opportunities. IiP assesses businesses on a range of criteria and helps to improve performance through good practice in people management.
To achieve the IiP standard, an organisation must meet a minimum of 39 requirements. Ceuta not only met these requirements but also met a further 80 requirements beyond the minimum standard to gain Silver status. Key requirements of the IiP standard include: clear strategies to improve performance, effective leadership and management and a high level of employee engagement. All three requirements have been proven to have a positive impact on performance and success.
